Boston

Bad news, the attack in Boston, but the media is acting like it's another 9/11.
Front page news? Yes.
Special TV coverage? Yes.
Virtually nonstop TV coverage? No.
It's likely an angry nut job, or a few of them, acting out their tax day revenge fantasies, but in a woefully misguided, cruel way. If you think taxes are wrong, persuade everyone not to pay them. Problem solved. Don't hurt others to make your point about it or anything else.

    1. The more time has passed, the more I think that you were right and I was wrong here. Any attack on any country is worth comprehensive coverage by that country's media.

  2. I'm sorry you disagree, but I still think the coverage is overblown, as horrifying an event it is. It's getting more television time than the Oklahoma bombing did. Anyway, as I write this one suspect is dead and they seem to be moving in on the second. Let's hope authorities can learn enough from it to stop it from happening again.
