Over

Three years ago, the Complete and Total Loser began reading newspaper articles on Mondays over a dedicated FM radio frequency so his city and surrounding suburb's blind population could find out what was being written about in its local publications.
Last week, the Loser got a letter from the organization saying that, as he suspected, no one was listening anymore (listenership down 85% over the past five years) and that the service was terminated as of that Friday.
The Loser liked the two blind men who did the non-reading radio part of the station. He liked the elderly people he met who also read and the man who managed the whole thing. Sadly, there was no opportunity to have a farewell gathering of any kind.
Now the Loser will sleep late Mondays and spend the day not talking to anyone at all.
