Shock (Poem)

It’s funny what we’re shocked about
When we learn news of the day.
It matters more when headlines shout
This politician’s gay!
Norway’s horror made me sad,
Put fear inside my head.
But this lesser news was just as bad:
Amy Winehouse is now dead.
